my attempt at a drabble of 100 words

The Gardener

Reaching down and standing the watering can upright, she adjusts the hose and turns the little knob.
Lefty, loosey-righty, tighty.
After a few seconds the can is full.
She walks across the yard carrying the heavy burden of a very full watering can. Pausing over a wilting flower, she bends down slightly, puts her hand on her back, tips the watering can and proceeds in not only lightening her load, but also in quenching the thirst of the flower. Now carrying a lighter burden and leaving a satisfied flower behind her, she turns and walks back across the yard.

  1. I LOVE THIS, SARA! The detail about the gardener supporting her back with her hand is so good...
One suggestion, if I may? You use the words "burden" and "lighter"/"lightening" twice. Maybe thesaurus-ize one or both of those?
