hold on one minute, i just have one more strawberry to cut up.

I like the way yellow lettuce
crunches
under my knife and
jumps
when I cut hard

and

I like the way corn
explodes
off the cob and
pops
into my mouth.

I LOVE THIS. Especially the title. I think it's so cool how little things like cutting vegetables are just so... poetic when you think about them. (I personally like the way tomatoes squish when you cut them. Maybe I should write about that...)
