countdown to christmas photography style

one more picture...i tried downloading more the other day but for some reason my computer wouldn't recognize my latest download...so anyway here is a picture i took on my dad's ipad. it's an instagram. i love it. :)

why i love it:

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."
~Elliott Erwitt

"As I have practiced it, photography produces pleasure by simplicity. I see something special and show it to the camera. A picture is produced."
~Sam Abell

"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence." ~Ansel Adams

"The idea is to write so that people hear it and it slides through the brain and goes straight to the heart."
~Maya Angelou

"The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say." ~Anais Nin

""It is necessary to write, if the days are not to slip emptily by. How else, indeed, to clap the net over the butterfly of the moment? For the moment passes, it is forgotten; the mood is gone; life itself is gone. That is where the writer scores over his fellows: he catches the changes of his mind on the hop." ~Vita Sackville-West
